México City, December 21, 2023 – Grupo Carso, S.A.B. de C.V. (BMV: GCARSO) ("GCARSO") (OTC: GPOVY).
The investing public is informed that Carso Energy, S.A. de C.V., through its subsidiary Gasoducto Centauro del Norte, S.A. de C.V., on December 20, 2023, signed with the Comisión Federal de Electricidad, an investment agreement, development agreement and transportation service contract, so that subject to the fulfillment of certain suspensive conditions, a gas pipeline will be developed, constructed and operated, with an approximate length of 416 kilometers, which will be a continuation of the Samalayuca - Sásabe gas pipeline to Mexicali. With this new investment Carso Energy consolidates its participation in this market.
