Mexico City, September 15th, 2025.Grupo Carso, S.A.B. de C.V. (GCARSO) informs the investing public that, as a result of the open international public bidding process for the construction and design of 111 km of the Saltillo - Nuevo Laredo Passenger Train, Segments 13 and 14, Saltillo - Santa Catarina, and having submitted the best technical-economic proposal from the six participating consortia, on September 15, the Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation, through the Railway Transport Regulatory Agency, awarded the contract to the consortium formed by its subsidiary Operadora Cicsa, S.A. de C.V. (CICSA) and the company FCC Construcción, S.A. (FCC), a contract for the construction and design of the aforementioned train for a total of $31,844 million pesos,including 16% VAT. CICSA is participating with a 50% stake, and FCC with a 50% stake. Construction will beginon September 30th, with a completion period of 960 calendar days.
